Potential Benefits of NIH Seriously Promoting Vegetables 

Here are some of the potential benefits if a concerted NIH pro-vegetable program can get people to increase their intake of vegetables, even by a modest amount:

I hope you give serious consideration to my proposals for a) studying why people don't eat their minimum required amount of vegetables, b) promoting vegetables in an effort to increase society's intake of them. The payoffs could be tremendous and far-reaching. And — you are the National Institutes of Health...so you should promote health!

I really like the way you have gone about providing a specific solution to preventing many diseases (as well as the need for nonhuman animal research) in these past few entries. Just wanted to stop by and say that. Hopefully they will listen.
