Hi Gary,
So, are you going to leave us hanging? Where is the lentil capital of the world?
I love lentils. And lentil stew with a hunk of fresh bread and a salad... mmmm, can't be beat. Big staple in our house over the "winter."
I still haven't tried my own veggie burgers yet. Maybe you'll inspire me!

I'm dying to find out what city is the lentil capital of the world? Could it be in the Middle East?

Hmm. Perhaps I should qualify. I used to live in a place that marketed itself as the lentil capital of the world. Actually, the dry pea and lentil capital of the world. Otherwise known as the Palouse region of northern Idaho and eastern Washington - a beautiful area with rolling hills and verdant green fields (of peas and lentils), against a backdrop of fir- and pine- covered mountains.

Lentil stew! I meant to mention lentil stew - thank you! Yes, it's a wonderful, satisfying and satiating main course; nice and hearty...especially in winter.
